Three steps
- 1
Add the images
Drop all the photos or scans for the document.
- 2
Arrange and set the page
Move images into order, then pick the page size and margin.
- 3
Create the PDF
Each image becomes a page, centred and scaled to fit.
Page size, margins and orientation
With A4 or US Letter, each image is scaled to fit inside the page margins and centred, and the page turns to landscape automatically for wide images. Same size as the image makes every page match its picture, which suits screenshots and photos you do not plan to print.
Images are embedded as high-quality JPEG. Transparent parts of a PNG become white, because the pages have a white background.
Tips
- Photograph documents in good light, flat and from straight above; the PDF can only be as clear as the photos.
- Use a small margin for printing, since many printers cannot print to the very edge.
- iPhone HEIC photos? Convert them with HEIC to JPG first.
Frequently asked questions
Can I change the order of the pages?
Yes. Use the arrows next to each image before creating the PDF. The first image becomes page 1.
Will the images lose quality?
Very little. They are embedded as high-quality JPEG at their original pixel size.
Can I add HEIC photos?
Not directly. Convert them with HEIC to JPG first, then add the JPGs here.
Is there a limit on images?
No fixed limit. Hundreds of high-resolution photos depend on your device's memory.
